Frequently Asked Questions...

FAQ 1:  What is fitness boot camp?

ANSWER:  Fitness boot camp is a series of intense workout sessions geared toward individuals who wish to experience a rapid change in their current level of fitness.  Fitness boot camp is not a rapid weight-loss program.  Rather, it is a program geared to drastically enhance participants' level of fitness.  Many times, though, weight loss does accompany a drastic change in level of fitness.  Each boot camp session will consist of a mix of cardiovascular training and strength training.

FAQ 2:  Who should join fitness boot camp?

ANSWER:  Fitness boot camp is for anyone who wishes to improve his/her level of fitness.  Interested individuals should assess their personal level of fitness to assure they are in adequate physical health to take part in workouts of this intensity.  For those individuals with low levels of fitness, adaptations are made by the instructor to ensure a successful experience.

FAQ 3:  Where is fitness boot camp held?

ANSWER:  Fitness boot camps generally take place in an outdoor setting in the Capital Region.  This Spring 2009 fitness boot camps will be held at the Empire State Plaza in downtown Albany, and The Crossings at Colonie in Colonie/Loudonville.

FAQ 4:  What is the cost of fitness boot camp?

ANSWER:  The tuition for fitness boot camp is $235.  Tuition includes participation in boot camp sessions, use of all necessary equipment (supplied by instructor), a t-shirt, a towel, and a water bottle, which are yours to keep.

FAQ 7:  How do I reserve my spot in one of the fitness boot camps?

ANSWER:  You can reserve a spot in fitness boot camp for a period of 2 weeks by simply paying the full tuition ($235) via cash, check, or PayPal.  All cash and check payments can be mailed to Corey House, 77 River Chase Drive, Rensselaer, NY 12144

FAQ 8:  Am I entitled to a refund if I don't end up enjoying the camp, or if I have something else come up?

ANSWER:  Once a payment is received and a commitment has been made to attend fitness boot camp, participants are not entitled to refunds of their tuition.  The reason for this is that there are a limited number of spots for each boot camp.  Once all spots are filled, the camp is closed and no further participants are accepted.  By withdrawing from camp, you are creating an opening that cannot be filled.  Accomodations may be made on a case by case basis should unforeseeable circumstances arise.
