Philosophy
To educate all of my clients that the true road to fitness is finding a program that works for them, based on their needs and wants. A complete fitness program addresses all three components: muscular strength & endurance, cardiorespiratory fitness, and flexibility. It is my belief that all three components should be hit upon during each training session, when appropriate.
True weight loss and/or transformation of the human body is a process that involves a considerable commitment on the part of the client. Fad diets and workout routines that "guarantee" fast results that will last, or ensure some type of "quick fix" many times turn out to be scams by individuals out to make a buck by tricking people into believing their sales pitch. A true and effective fitness program requires behavior change. Individuals must change certain things in their lives such as what they are eating, how much they are eating, whom they eat with, how much or how little they engage in moderate to vigorous exercise, and how they are exercising, as well as many other factors such as alcohol consumption and cigarette smoking.
Through the use of in-depth fitness assessment and assisted goal-setting, I believe that all individuals have the potential to reach their personal peak fitness. I assist my clients to transform their physical appearance through the use of resistance training, cardiovascular training, high intensity interval training, and flexibility training, as well as nutrition guidance.
